Deportivo La Coruna is targeting 33-year-old Nicolás Tagliafico, who has one year remaining on his contract with Olympique Lyon. The former Ajax player has been with the French club since 2022. Lyon is willing to cooperate with a transfer if an interesting transfer fee is offered for the full-back. The interest from the newly-promoted La Liga side is part of coach Antonio Hidalgo's plan to add more experienced players. Before the World Cup, Tagliafico had previously indicated that a move to a new club was possible. He stated that Lyon was aware that if another option arose and he wanted to move, the club was prepared to cooperate. The Argentine international has 82 caps and one goal for his country, and according to Transfermarkt, his market value is €4.00m.
